Of Boyfriend, Passion & Work Prospects.

Two or three weeks back, I took the train to Amsterdam on a Saturday morning. An impromptu trip, it was. I think my beau's job is amazing. I loved being surrounded by loads of yachts and everything in similar and just sink in between all those pretty toys! Hehe.

Ahh, temptations. I wonder how he resists from falling in love with every single item he sells & trades everyday. I witnessed how deeply in love he is with his job. Non-stop phone calls, endless running errands on behalf of his subordinates (yeap, it was vice versa), piles of files all over the places, payment slips... and his girl at one corner stressing him to wrap up at work. :p

I mean, I wouldn't have the heart to sell any of those toys (he always refers them as his toys) I saw. For girls, it's synonymous to asking us to sell handbags in designer items. Ahh.. the pain when every piece has to go off. ;)

"Can I have one, B?"
"What do you want?"
"A jet ski will do."
"I'll pass you over to the sales team. :p"
"I'm not asking for big things like yachts or ships you see."
"Oh well. Even one cent is business... for me. Sorry, B. Sit there and wait for me"

Mission failed. Business over love - anytime for him.

I wonder how I'll be like as I start working. Up till now, none of the two companies that I went up for interview contacted me back and I hope that isn't a bad omen. I'd love to start working next year, widen my experience and use up the knowledge that I've gained throughout my years in universities. Even more important than that, I look forward to feel how it's like to love my job!

Hoping everyone's still in one piece, have gotten over the Monday blues and live through this week with maximum productivity.

God bless,
Freida.
